META keywords are written in HTML code and do not show up in your webpage copy. These are keywords that describe what your website is about or what keywords you are targeting and here's the thing; search engines do not care about your META keywords! Whether you have them or not is really optional and they could actually be used by your competitors to figure out what keywords to target. Of course you could do this to them too! Your competitors that is.
